Senso specialises in accessibility across the home journey. We help people with access needs and their families, the estate agents who serve them, and the occupational therapists who help them.
What we do today
- For you and your family. Start with a free check of a property listing. It looks for details such as steps, stairs and a downstairs toilet, and helps you see what still needs checking before a visit.
For you and your family - For estate agents. We help branches improve follow-ups and reduce repeated admin. We start by understanding where work gets stuck, then agree practical improvements around the team and its existing tools. We can also help agents give buyers clearer information about access. Any audit or build is agreed and priced separately.
For estate agents - For occupational therapists. We help private practices improve preparation and reduce repeated admin. Paid practice support is scoped separately. The free listing check is also available as a starting point for questions before a home visit. Your assessment and professional judgement stay yours.

What the listing check can and cannot tell you
The listing check is a pilot: a first check from a property listing, not a certificate. It uses listing photos and floorplans to flag access details and unanswered questions. It can miss or misread things. It cannot replace measurements, a survey or an occupational therapist’s assessment. Use it to prepare questions and decide what to check in person.
Our rule is that the facts are true, even when the honest answer is no. If the evidence cannot answer a question, we say so. Helping an agent present a property never changes what we say about its access.

Why Karthik started Senso
Karthikan Yogarajah, founder
“I had stage-1 cancer and went through surgery and chemotherapy. My body couldn’t do what it used to, and my own home became restrictive. That set me on a journey to help people with access needs. It’s why I’m building Senso.”
Karthik was a senior user researcher at NHS England, working on the NHS website’s accessibility. He left NHS England at the end of September 2026 to build full-time.
Finding, checking and adapting a home
Our ambition is to support people as their access needs change: finding a home that could work, understanding it through measurements and assessment, and adapting it over time.
This is the direction we are building towards. Today, Senso offers the listing check and practical support for branches and practices. The wider finding and adaptation services are not available yet.
